WIRED’s Big Interview Series: A Recap of Our San Francisco Events

WIRED’s Big Interview series is renowned for facilitating engaging dialogues with political leaders, creators, executives, and scientists who are driving global progress. In 2024, this series made its debut as an in-person event on a stage in San Francisco, marking the first time the format was hosted in the city. This year, the event returned, convening a distinguished lineup of guests including AMD CEO Lisa Su, director Jon M. Chu (known for Wicked), Anthropic cofounder Daniela Amodei, Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince, and numerous other industry pioneers.

What Is The Big Interview?

The Big Interview, a one-day in-person event held on December 4 at The Midway in San Francisco, featured a slate of in-depth, illuminating Q&A sessions with today’s most prominent innovators—each moderated by a WIRED journalist. Additionally, the event incorporated a modern science fair concept, complete with hands-on demonstrations and interactive experiences to complement the conversations.
